Flat cheekbone surgery by implants
Cheekbones implants are used to raise the relief of this area. The result is immediate and stable.
Implants are very close to the bone in a tailor-made cavity to avoid secondary displacements.
The difficulty of this procedure is the symmetry of the result with no secondary displacement of the implant.
The risk of infection is present, especially since the implant is introduced through an incision in the mouth to avoid extended scars on the face and preserve the branches of the nerve allowing face movements (facial nerve).
The procedure lasts 1 hour and is carried out under general or local anaesthesia.
