Cheekbone augmentation with hyaluronic acid injection
description
Description:
The absence of relief in the cheekbones can be natural or due to aging.
Relief should be centred on the malar bone relief, not too high and not too low.
A full and rounded cheekbone brings youth and vitality. A flat cheekbone gives a tired look.
Cheekbones surgery with hyaluronic acid injection allows a natural rising.
- The injections are most often done under topical anaesthesia (EMLA Cream is applied one hour before the procedure) and allow a temporary raising of the cheekbones volume which lasts between 12 and 18 months.
- The procedure consists in injecting hyaluronic acid directly into the cheekbone to recreate its volume and give it its natural relief.
- Hyaluronic acid is injected in the depth of the cheekbone with thin cannulas.
- The results of this procedure are excellent. For a better result, the hyaluronic acid used has a strong volumator effect linked with lidocaine, in order to improve comfort during the injections (Voluma Allergan).
